This Prospect:

We are currently looking to fill a Part-Time Permanent Homemaking Services Worker position in the Midland area.

Wage: $21.17 per hour

Hours: Up to 24 hours per week

Schedule: Variable shifts, Monday to Friday. Weekends and holidays are not required.

Responsibilities:

- Assist seniors in their own homes with non-medical activities of daily living in accordance with March of Dimes Canada policies and procedures.

- Provide light housekeeping services.

- Assist with laundry.

- Perform duties professionally while respecting consumers' dignity and right to privacy and maintaining the health and safety of consumers and staff.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.





- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification.

- Experience working with older adults and/or adults with age-related health conditions and/or disabilities.

- Knowledge of and ability to perform transferring and housekeeping duties.

- Completion of a Physical Demands Self-Analysis upon hire.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work flexible and regularly scheduled hours.

- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between multiple locations is required.
