Randstad seeks a third or fourth-year Industrial Mechanic Millwright Apprentice or experienced maintenance specialist. You will troubleshoot processing equipment, repair hydraulic systems, and complete mechanical maintenance in a heavy industrial environment. Practical welding experience supports structural repairs, while a 433A license is also considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty processing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair legacy industrial machinery
- Diagnose hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and actuators
- Complete basic structural repairs using TIG and MIG welding
- Align drives and replace mechanical components
Requirements:
- Third or fourth-year apprenticeship preferred
- Proven hands-on industrial mechanical background accepted
- Direct heavy manufacturing experience required
- Practical hydraulic systems knowledge essential
- Comfort with demanding seven-to-seven continental shifts
