Apply data analytics and automation skills at AltaGas as a four-month Co-op Student supporting Midstream projects from January 2027.
This student role combines technical and business skills across reporting, business intelligence, process improvement, and automation initiatives. You will work with project teams and data from multiple sources to improve reporting, support decision-making, and streamline workflows. Exposure includes project controls, cost management, benchmarking, and field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project performance, cost tracking, KPI, and portfolio reporting
- Prepare validated data for benchmarking and meaningful comparisons
- Develop dashboards using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
- Support database development, organization, and data quality initiatives
- Analyze LEMS processes and identify automation opportunities
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant second- or third-year undergraduate program
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Interest in analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and automation
- Ability to interpret large datasets into meaningful insights
- Excel experience; Power BI, Fabric, SQL, or Python exposure preferred
Build practical experience in analytics, dashboards, automation, and process improvement across AltaGas Midstream projects.
