Handle shipping and receiving for Kananaskis Mountain Lodge in Kananaskis, Alberta, using inventory tracking and invoice reconciliation skills. This permanent position includes subsidized staff housing.
As a Receiving Attendant, you will support the Food & Beverage division and the rest of the hotel from the Shipping/Receiving area. The role involves processing deliveries, preparing outlet requests, and completing food and beverage inventories. You will stage, store, and distribute merchandise while maintaining accurate records. The position is immediate and permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process deliveries against invoices
- Stage merchandise and deliver it to resort departments
- Track received inventory and complete reports and logs
- Reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports
- Secure packages, mail, and the receiving room
Requirements:
- Alberta Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operator’s License
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to navigate stairs, ramps, and confined spaces
- Physical capacity for bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Flexibility for wide-ranging shifts, weekends, and holidays
