Whetheryou are a certified Millwright or currently completing your apprenticeship, wewelcome qualified applicants who are ready to contribute to our growing team.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Wage: $24 – $34 per hour
Overtime: Paid in accordance with Ontario Employment Standards Act
- Build new industrial and construction machinery
- Install, inspect, adjust, clean, and lubricateequipment
- Disassemble machine parts when transporting orrepairing them, and reassemble the parts
- Collaborate with construction workers or engineerswhen using the machines
- Align equipment by using specialized tools
- Collect and store machinery parts
- Choose appropriate tools for the task
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does notcompromise safety
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Identifying hazards or potential hazards
- Other job duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Certification as a Millwright or in the process of anapprenticeship program is required
- Hands-on experience with construction equipment andmachinery
- Knowledge of relative safety standards andwillingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves etc.)
- Work effectively in different environments
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Familiarity with safety standards and OSHAregulations.
