Child Caregiver – Private Household Reid Family with Three children

- NOC Job Code/Title: 44100 - In home caregiver ( child care)

Reid Family is seeking an experienced, patient, and energetic caregiver who can confidently supervise and care for three children of different ages. The ideal candidate will provide attentive care, support the children’s daily routines and development, and maintain a safe, positive, and engaging home environment.

· Salary: $21.00 per hour for 40 hours per week

· Schedule: Flexible shifts may include early mornings, mornings, days, evenings, nights, and weekends; schedule to be determined

· Start date: As soon as possible

Education
· Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience
1 year to less than 2 years

Work Environment and Setting
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work Site Environment
· Non-smoking

· Work in the employer’s/client’s home

· Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.

· Relocation costs are covered by the employer

Responsibilities
· Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence

· Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

· Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens

· Guide and discipline the children according to the methods requested by the parents

· Teach the children personal hygiene and support their social development

· Maintain a safe and healthy home workplace

· Organize activities for the children, including games and outings





· Prepare and serve nutritious meals

· Supervise and care for the children

· Take the children to and from school and appointments

· Support the children’s emotional well-being

· Help the children with homework
