Reporting to the Manager of Environmental Services, this temporary Laundry Aide position supports linen services at Portage Regional Health Centre. The role involves processing and transporting soiled and clean linen, maintaining records, and caring for laundry production and storage areas. Basic computer skills, English comprehension, and protected chemical handling are required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process soiled and clean linen for facility areas
- Transport linen to appropriate locations within the facility
- Maintain linen inventory, washing, and delivery records




- Keep production and storage areas maintained
- Ensure laundry equipment remains clean and operational

Requirements:

- Previous industrial or commercial laundry experience
- Completed Grade 10 education or equivalent combination
- Follow written and oral instructions safely
- Handle chemicals according to manufacturer directions
- Demonstrated basic computer skills and independent work ability
