Le Voyageur Inn is seeking an experienced, qualified cook.

Located in Mattawa’s oldest building, dating to 1881, this modest hotel is within one block of the Trans-Canada Highway and the Ottawa and Mattawa rivers. Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park is 15.7 km away. The hotel also has a licensed restaurant serving Thai and Canadian cuisine. The well-preserved historic hotel features a restaurant on the ground floor.

- Salary: $19.00 per hour, 35 hours per week
- Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time
- Schedule: Days, evenings, mornings, nights, weekends, shifts, flexible hours, or as determined
- Start date: As soon as possible

- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare meals for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas




- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and safe handling
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records for food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean the kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
