Bring up SiTime ASIC devices using Python automation, laboratory equipment, and circuit debugging in a fully on-site engineering role. Explore timing systems.
As a Systems Engineer, you will work on recent timing and high-speed signal devices before customer release. The role connects design, verification, and marketing teams while supporting analog and digital embedded systems. You will investigate device behavior, confirm requirements, and build characterization data for customer datasheets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bring up new devices and collect initial operating data
- Debug communication issues after device arrival
- Analyze characterization data against product requirements
- Create automated Python tests with laboratory equipment
- Design, rework,
and debug evaluation PCBs
Requirements:
- Pursue third-year or higher Electrical Engineering degree
- Use oscilloscopes, frequency counters, generators, and power supplies
- Program with Python using object-oriented techniques
- Understand transmission lines, circuit design, and debugging
- Solder through-hole and surface-mount devices to 0201 size
Develop ASIC verification expertise through device bring-up, automated testing, PCB work, and root-cause analysis at SiTime.
