As a Housekeeper, you will clean surgical procedure areas, washrooms, operating room tables, patient spaces, and common areas. You will manage linen, floors, garbage, and emergency cleanups while protecting resident and personnel confidentiality. Health and safety guidelines shape every task.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect surgical areas, washrooms, equipment, and surfaces
- Strip, wash, make beds, and fold collected linen
- Damp mop, vacuum, and extract floors as required
- Remove garbage from resident rooms and common areas
- Respond to emergency cleanups and report workplace hazards
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
- Healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Robust time management and organizational skills
- Good verbal and written English communication
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
