About the role
MSS Security is seeking Security Officers who hold or are eligible for a Positing Vetting Clearance to join our team in Melbourne and Sydney. We have positions available at a high-profile data centre, with sponsorship available for candidates who do not yet hold a clearance.
Onsite parking is available once clearance is obtained and the successful candidate is placed at the new site, with the exception of City-based sites.
Employees holding a Positive Vetting Clearance will receive a competitive allowance of up to $20,000 per year.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and the building is secure.
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
- Oversee CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors with inquiries.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies.
Requirements:
- Must be an Australian Citizen .
- Hold a current AGSVA Positive Vetting Clearance or willing to obtain .
- Valid Victorian/Current South Wales Security Licence.
- Valid Victorian/New South Wales Drivers Licence.
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates or willing to obtain.
- 24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster.
- Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift as part of routine patrols.
- Must be able to supply background information including (but not limited to) referees, past addresses, overseas travel, education etc.
