Monitor Formet Industries’ automotive facility in St. Thomas using access control, patrols, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position.

As a Security Guard, you will protect production and warehouse areas while supporting CTPAT access-control procedures. The position involves outdoor work in all weather, truck inspections, visitor and contractor access, and security-system monitoring. Reliability, attentiveness, customer service, and computer abilities are central to the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor access points, visitors, contractors, and shipments
- Conduct production and warehouse area security patrols
- Inspect and log inbound and outbound truck traffic




- Operate weight scales and monitor security systems
- Respond to emergencies and contact responders when required

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification
- Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act
- Clear written reports and strong verbal communication
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
