Darigold seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair plant machinery while assisting with fabrication and sanitary welding projects. The position involves rotating machinery, production equipment, electrical motors, controls, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, ammonia refrigeration systems, and boilers. Preventive maintenance, CMMS work orders, equipment records, and technical drawings are also central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair plant machinery and production equipment
- Perform stainless steel fabrication and sanitary welding
- Troubleshoot motors, controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Interpret P&ID;, mechanical, and electrical drawings
- Plan maintenance priorities and maintain equipment records
Requirements:
- Three to five years manufacturing maintenance experience
- Proven sanitary welding and stainless steel fabrication skills
- Experience repairing rotating machinery and production equipment
- Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and boilers
- Availability for nights, weekends, and any shift
