As an Industrial Painter with Tigercat Industries, you will prepare and maintain paint coating systems and spray booth equipment. Your work includes cleaning, sanding, priming, and painting machine part surfaces. You will also adjust paint mixes, inspect finishes, and support production timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply paint and materials using spray equipment
- Clean, sand, scrape, grind, and prime surfaces
- Adjust spray nozzles, mixes, flow, and coating thickness
- Identify coating flaws and correct their causes
- Clean sprayers and dispose of paint waste properly
Requirements:
- Familiarity with spray guns, sanders, and industrial painting tools
- Understanding of different coatings and their properties
- Solid attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Industrial painting experience or apprenticeship exposure is an asset
