Support automated equipment maintenance as a Mechatronics and Robotics Technician at JLL’s on-site Whitby, Ontario facility. Troubleshoot electrical systems and maintain material handling equipment.

This full time JLL position supports the Operations Maintenance team repairing pneumatic systems and automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will complete preventative maintenance, document work, and troubleshoot belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and other material handling equipment. The role also includes inventory tracking and mentoring junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair and maintain material handling equipment throughout the building
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging equipment




- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment problems
- Track and store department inventory

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two-plus years repairing material handling equipment
- Two-plus years conducting predictive and preventative maintenance
- Flexible availability for weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to move up to 49 pounds
