Support person-centered care as a Health Care Aide with Optima Living, assisting seniors with daily living, mobility, medication, and dignity.

Reporting to the Director of Care and working under a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will support residents’ physical, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, and cultural needs. Your work promotes independence while following care plans, organizational policies, regulations, and infection control procedures. Optima Living serves more than 6,000 residents across Alberta and British Columbia through senior living and continuing care communities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Document observations, interventions, and changes accurately




- Administer medications and provide care-plan reminders
- Support nutrition, hydration, dining, and recreational participation
- Respond to call bells, emergencies, incidents, and resident requests

Requirements:

- Recognized Health Care Aide program completion
- Current BC or Alberta care aide registration
- Active CPR and First Aid certification
- Computer literacy and strong written communication skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
