The City of Markham seeks a temporary part time Facility Maintenance Attendant I for Recreation, Community Services. You will assist with operations maintenance, cleaning, and repair work across community centres, pools, arenas, change rooms, and assigned areas. The position requires safe general maintenance, communication, and interaction with diverse groups.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window, washroom, and detail cleaning
- Shovel snow, apply salt, collect garbage, and complete facility setups
- Operate power tools, cleaning equipment, and safety equipment




- Patrol facilities and address hazards or operational problems
- Respond to public requests and complete administrative duties

Requirements:

- Be at least 15 years old at training start
- Maintain fitness for protected general maintenance work
