We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Software Developer to design, build, and enhance surveillance technology solutions that help strengthen the Firm’s risk management capabilities and resilience against fraudulent and non-financial risks.

This is an Associate position within the Software Engineering job family which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs

What you’ll do in the role:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain surveillance models supporting Wealth Management Monitoring initiatives.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable surveillance solutions.
- Develop backend services and data processing capabilities using Java, Scala, and Apache Spark.
- Contribute to software architecture, design, implementation, and testing throughout the SDLC.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Develop and optimize database solutions using DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor application performance and ensure production stability in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll bring to the role:





- 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience within the Java ecosystem.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Scala and Apache Spark on big data platforms.
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD, test automation, and release automation.
- Strong database expertise, preferably with DB2, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience across the full SDLC using Agile Scrum methodologies and software design best practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies, cloud platforms (Azure), Unix, scripting, and Python.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, Angular/React) and Spring Boot/JDBC-based application development.
- Experience with AI tools and LLMs (GPT, Claude, Copilot), including agentic workflows and automation of SDLC processes.
