Lead contract negotiation and technology licensing for Genevant in Vancouver, supporting nucleic acid delivery partnerships through a hybrid work model. Genevant seeks an experienced Director or Senior Director for its Legal team. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this position supports research and development contracts, software licenses, collaborations, and broader transactional needs. The work connects Legal with Business Development, R&D;, Procurement, Finance, and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage wide-ranging organizational contracts Support complex technology license and collaboration negotiations Maintain an effective contract management system Track agreements, renewals, amendments, extensions,
and key dates Explain contractual commitments, risks, and priorities clearly Requirements:
Juris Doctor from a recognized law school Two to six years’ relevant contracts or corporate experience Independent end-to-end contract negotiation and management experience British Columbia law license in good standing Strong executive communication, judgment, and business acumen Apply legal judgment, commercial thinking, and licensing expertise to advance Genevant’s contracts and collaborations in Vancouver.
