Apply civil engineering design expertise to substation facilities with Qualus in Vancouver or Calgary. Use Civil 3D and stormwater tools onsite and in design. As an Engineer III, you will support civil design, technical reviews, and quality assurance for utility substations. Your work covers grading, drainage, earthworks, stormwater management, access roads, fencing, retaining walls, and oil containment. You will report to the Director of Engineering. Key Responsibilities:
Develop civil designs from conceptual through detailed stages Perform analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and HEC-RAS Prepare grading, drainage, earthworks, and stormwater documents Review vendor documents against project specifications Coordinate civil scope, schedules, budgets, and resources Requirements:
Civil Engineering degree from a recognized university Canadian P.Eng. designation or eligibility for EGBC registration Five to eight years of civil engineering design experience Knowledge of Canadian codes, standards, and regulations Solid written and verbal communication skills Bring substation civil design, technical review, and project coordination expertise to Qualus engineering teams in Vancouver or Calgary.
