Lead financial reporting and month-end close at Science & Humans in a hybrid, in-office-collaborative environment across Canadian entities.
As Accounting Manager, you will oversee accounting operations for Science & Humans, a hormone health and longevity platform. The work spans Canadian GAAP, intercompany accounting, consolidations, compliance, and financial systems. You will partner with finance and business leadership in a multi-entity workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare Canadian GAAP financial statements
- Review journal entries and reconciliations
- Analyze results and explain management variances
- Coordinate year-end audits with external auditors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP
- Experience with multiple legal entities and month-end close
- Strong Excel and accounting systems skills
