As a Senior Specialist, you will manage cyber, directors’ and officers’, employment practices, and professional liability claims. You will handle investigations through resolution while contributing to claim strategy and coverage discussions. The work requires technical expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and professional issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct coverage analysis, investigations, negotiations, and claim resolutions
- Identify and coordinate recovery opportunities and efforts
- Manage outside counsel, litigation plans, budgets, and payments
- Negotiate settlements considering liability, damages, and coverage
- Engage underwriting, reinsurance, actuarial, and leadership stakeholders
Requirements:
- University degree, college diploma, or completed CIP designation
- AMF Loss Adjuster (5A) License
- Bilingual French and English communication skills
- Eight to ten years of general claims handling experience
- Financial Lines claims experience preferred
