Lead culinary operations at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge in Kananaskis, Alberta, using hands-on leadership and strong multi-outlet expertise across a year-round resort.

As Executive Chef, you report to the Resort Manager and guide culinary and stewarding operations across six outlets, banquet facilities, employee dining, and seasonal programming. You will lead a culinary team of more than 70 members while supporting consistent execution, financial performance, and guest satisfaction. The operation serves leisure guests, corporate groups, conferences, weddings, and destination events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead daily culinary and stewarding operations across resort food services
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop culinary team members
- Coordinate menus, seasonal programming, recipes, and presentation standards




- Oversee weddings, conferences, galas, and large-scale banquet events
- Manage food cost, labor efficiency, inventory, and operational flow

Requirements:

- Minimum 10 years progressive culinary leadership experience
- Previous Executive Chef experience in hotels, resorts, or high-volume operations
- Solid multi-outlet and banquet production experience
- Proven leadership of large culinary teams
- Red Seal Certification or culinary degree preferred
