- Trans East Trailers is a commercial trailer seller with a quickly-growing parts and service department. We are preparing to move to our new location in October and are in need of a larger work force to help facilitate parts and service sales. We are looking for 2 mechanics. All experience levels are welcome to apply. Pay rate is dependent on experience.
Who we are looking for:
- Commercial trailer mechanics at all level of experience
- Someone who is a self starter who requires minimal oversight
- The qualified person will work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to learn when needed
- Someone with strong communication skills
- A team player
Description of Work Tasks
- Performing mechanical work on commercial trailers
- Ensuring quality of work
- Maintaining orderly and clean working habits
- Reporting nonconforming situations
- Read and understand work orders given by shop manager
- Report to shop manager progress of each job
- Work with Parts desk to obtain necessary material for repairs
- Other projects and duties as assigned by the shop manager
- Work with Sales Team when needed to discuss repair
- Knowledge of ABS Diagnostic equipment would be helpful
- Mechanic license is an asset
