Job Overview

Amped Electrical is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead commercial and multi-family electrical projects. This hands-on lead role coordinates field crews, supports project execution, and helps ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to required quality standards. The foreman works closely with project management, other trades, and site teams to keep installation activities organized and aligned with project plans.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate electricians and other field personnel, providing clear direction and day-to-day support.
- Plan and sequence electrical work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, schematics, and specifications to guide installation.
- Monitor job progress, crew productivity, materials, and equipment needs; communicate schedule or field issues promptly.
- Perform and oversee installation, troubleshooting, and inspection of commercial and multi-family electrical systems.
- Maintain quality control by checking completed work for accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
- Promote safe work practices and ensure the crew follows applicable site procedures and electrical safety standards.
- Track project documentation, updates, and field activities using construction management software, including tools such as Procore and Bluebeam.




- Support project budgeting and construction estimating by identifying labor, material, and scope considerations.
- Coordinate inspections, resolve field conflicts, and help address changes in project conditions or scope.
- Maintain organized work areas and communicate progress, challenges, and next steps to project leadership.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated construction experience, preferably on commercial and multi-family electrical projects.
- Supervising experience leading electrical crews or serving as a lead hand or foreman.
- Strong blueprint-reading skills, including the ability to interpret electrical plans, specifications, and schematics.
- Working knowledge of electrical installation practices, quality control, and jobsite safety.
- Familiarity with construction management software; experience with Procore and Bluebeam is preferred.
- Experience with Primavera P6 is an asset.
- Ability to contribute to budgeting, construction estimating, material planning, and schedule coordination.
- Robust communication, organization, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, inspectors, and other trades.

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
