The Accounts Payable

Analyst is responsible for the accurate, timely, and efficient processing of accounts payable transactions across the organization. This role reflects a higher level of experience and accountability than a traditional AP Analyst and requires the ability to independently manage complex transactions, resolve discrepancies, and support process improvements within the accounting function. The role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

This is a fixed-term contract position for a duration of 18 months to cover a maternity leave.

Accounts

Payable (Approximately 95%) Review invoices for completeness, accuracy, appropriate coding, and policy compliance Prepare and process cheque runs and electronic payments according to established schedules and controls Ensure all cash disbursements are accurate, properly authorized, and compliant with company policies Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance follow-ups related to AP Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, documentation, and internal controls Maintain organized, accurate,



and audit-ready AP records Follow all Infra Pipe policies, procedures, and internal controls Actively participate in Health & Safety training and promote a safe work environment Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management Office Administration (Approximately 5%) Maintain appropriate levels of office and kitchen supplies Support general office upkeep, including daily dishwasher loading and unloading Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field ~4–7 years of progressive experience in accounts payable or general accounting ~ Demonstrated ability to handle complex AP transactions with minimal supervision ~ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) ~ Experience with a fully integrated ERP system is an asset ~ Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset Office-based role located in Mississauga, Ontario Primarily office-based with exposure to typical office conditions (ambient temperature, lighting, and standard equipment).
