Job Title: Accounts Payable Lease Administrator Job Type: Temporary Work Model: Remote This posting is for an existing vacancy. Our client in Toronto, ON is actively looking for an Accounts Payable Lease Administrator to join their team. Maintain and reconcile the monthly rent roll to ensure completeness and accuracy of General Ledger postings and lease-related expenses Review landlord and utility invoices against lease agreements, prior-year records, and approved rent schedules to ensure accurate accounting treatment Code, review, and post invoices to the appropriate General Ledger accounts, cost centres, projects, and departments in accordance with accounting policies Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices, rent schedules, and the General Ledger, including miscoding’s, timing differences, and billing variances Reconcile AP sub-ledger balances to the General Ledger and assist with variance analysis during month-end and year-end close Maintain detailed and organized digital documentation of invoices, approvals, lease agreements, journal entries,



and supporting schedules for audit and internal review purposes Respond to landlord and internal stakeholder inquiries related to invoice status, payment timing, and accounting treatment Assist with current vendor and utility account setup, ensuring accurate financial and General Ledger information is captured in accounting systems Serve as a key point of coordination between the Finance team, landlords, and Development, supporting timely close and accurate financial reporting Support internal controls and process improvements related to General Ledger accuracy and lease expense reporting 1–3 years of experience in General Ledger accounting, accounts payable, or finance operations ~ Hands-on experience with GL coding, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting month-end close ~ Exposure to lease accounting, rent rolls, or property-related expenses is an asset ~ Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and Excel #
