Tank Traders® is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in La Salle, MB!

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented self-starter with hands-on accounts receivable experience and strong communication skills. If you’re comfortable managing customer accounts, resolving payment issues, and keeping things running smoothly, this could be a great fit for you!

Responsibilities:

- Manage overdue customer accounts through phone calls and email, resolve payment delays, and work with customers to establish collection plans and ensure payments are made on time.
- Review high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate next steps, including credit limit adjustments, credit holds, and escalation to third-party collections when necessary.
- Oversee customer billing and payment processing, including invoice distribution, applying EFT and cheque payments, processing bank transaction files, and maintaining accurate account records.
- Investigate billing discrepancies, short-payments, unauthorized customer deductions, and electronic data interchange (EDI) issues to resolve outstanding balances and prevent recurring billing problems.
- Reconcile customer accounts, prepare account statements and remittances, manage customer rebates, and review pay-by-scan discrepancies to ensure account balances are accurate.
- Support month-end processes by completing account reconciliations, reviewing accounts receivable aging, preparing monthly reports, and monitoring payment trends to identify accounts requiring follow-up.

What we’re looking for:

- Minimum of 2 years of accounts receivable or related experience




- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
