About Synergy

Synergy is a pork production and pig management company based in Listowel, Ontario. For 30+ years, we have been able to do this by partnering with local, family farms across Southwestern Ontario that work with us to raise hogs for our Canadian processing customers. Based in Listowel, Ontario, we are looking to add an Administrative and Data Management qualified to our team.

About the Role The primary responsibilities of this role will be twofold. The first will be providing administrative support for Synergy’s farming partners and Synergy’s operations team. This includes creating feed budgets for barns, handling pharmacy and lab processes, and other items as they arise.

The second will be data entry and analysis. Synergy utilizes PigKnows, MetaFarms, PowerBi, and a number of internally developed processes for managing and analyzing operational data. In addition to some data entry, this role will involve collaborating with farmers, field technicians,



and other Synergy team members to learn about their needs and see how our data can be organized and shared in a way to support improvement for the individual and the business.

Joining our Team The ideal candidate will be looking to work in a team environment, be comfortable using Excel, and be genuinely curious and motivated to support the family farms that Synergy works with. This job would interest someone with a strong attention to detail that loves to dig into problems and learn new things. Experience working in agriculture, in particular the pork or livestock industry, is an asset but is not required.

Wage range: $20-$35/hr depending on skills and experience.
