About the Role
CCATCM is looking for an Admissions & Marketing Officer to join our team in a long-term, permanent position. The role has two parts. On the admissions side, you'll guide prospective students from their first inquiry through to enrollment.
On the marketing side, you'll bring in students through outreach, events and digital channels while managing our social accounts. This is a student-facing role, ideal for someone friendly and outgoing who wants to learn and grow with us. We are looking for a go-getter.
You'll be part of a small but dynamic team, working closely with the CEO, President and the Director of College Operations.
Admissions Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inquiries by phone, email and in person, and follow up with every lead.
- Meet with prospective students to explain programs, assess eligibility and confirm admission requirements are met.
- Guide applicants through the application, enrollment contract and onboarding process.
- Advise students on tuition funding options (student loans, bursaries, sponsorships) and help them apply for student aid.
- Build and maintain complete, accurate student files that meet CCATCM policies and Nova Scotia Department of Advanced Education requirements.
- Track the pipeline from inquiry through application to enrollment, and report regularly against the enrollment targets for each intake.
- Help coordinate recent-student orientations, workshops and graduation events.
Marketing Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out recruitment campaigns to meet enrollment targets, including advertising,
email outreach, webinars and open houses.
- Manage the College's social media accounts and keep the website current, posting regularly.
- Create, edit and distribute marketing materials (flyers, brochures, digital ads, program pages), making sure everything is approved before it goes out.
- Plan, register for and staff trade shows, conferences, seminars and open houses, both virtual and in person.
- Build partnerships with schools, employment agencies, immigration offices, professional associations, community organizations and educational partners.
- Support marketing for the student and professional clinics to bring in new patients.
- Track how campaigns perform and suggest improvements.
Operations Support
- Support day-to-day college operations, including basic invoicing and payment processing.
- Help find renters for college facilities.
- Help develop and launch new programs and services.
Who You Are
- Friendly and outgoing: you enjoy meeting people and make students feel welcome from their first conversation.
- An excellent communicator in English: strong spoken and written English, and comfortable presenting, writing marketing copy and handling student conversations.
- Tech-savvy and AI-friendly: confident with digital tools,
social media platforms and office software, and able to use AI tools to work smarter.
- Ready to learn and grow: looking for a long-term career with us and keen to take on new responsibilities as the College expands.
- Organized and dependable: able to manage several priorities and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience in student recruitment, admissions, sales or marketing, ideally in post-secondary education.
- A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
- Required: working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms, including creating content and managing accounts.
- Hands-on experience with content creation and event coordination.
- Assets: knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization), knowledge of Nova Scotia Department of Advanced Education standards, and experience with student loan agencies or funding bodies.
Why Join CCATCM?
