ADHD is one of the most treatable conditions in medicine and one of the worst-served. Adults can wait 12 months for an assessment in the public system and many never get treatment. We assess, diagnose and treat adults who've spent years on waitlists or being told their symptoms aren't real and we do it in weeks, not years.

We’re a startup graduating to scaleup, which means the next chapter of Frida gets built by the people here now. We are looking for caring and compassionate Nurse Practitioners to provide high-quality virtual mental health care services to Frida patients. In this role, you will provide thorough assessment and treatment of adults with ADHD, along with supporting patients experiencing depression, anxiety, and other comorbidities.

This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, technical proficiency, and a commitment to reducing health disparities within diverse populations. Working remotely doesn’t mean working alone.



You’ll receive one‑on‑one training in our ADHD care model and have a community of clinical leads and peers to connect with and learn from.

Delivering inclusive, high-quality virtual care through Frida’s platform. Documenting assessments and decisions clearly in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to support ongoing care by the RN team. Using independent clinical judgement and consulting a clinical lead or colleague when needed.

Responding to patient requests within our service expectations and helping improve patient care and service delivery. A Master's degree in Nursing and a Primary Health Care or Adult/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner diploma ~ Active Nurse Practitioner registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (additional provincial registration is a plus) ~1+ years of mental health experience as a Nurse Practitioner within the last 5 years, or 2+ years of Registered Nurse experience in mental health ~ Experience using a digital EMR and team based messaging applications Specific experience assessing or treating adults with ADHD Experience working with marginalized and vulnerable populations, including gender and sexually diverse communities Experience providing virtual care 90 CAD/hour as an independent contractor ~ Independent contractors provide their own equipment, including a laptop Location: Remote (Canada) #
