Develop single-cell proteomics and metabolomics workflows onsite at EIT’s Generative Biology Institute in Oxford Science Park. Apply advanced LC-MS expertise to low-input analysis.
As a Scientist or Senior Scientist, you will establish robust analytical workflows within the Mass Spectrometry Tech Hub. You will support GBI and EIT researchers through sample preparation, method development, data acquisition, interpretation, and troubleshooting.
The work spans biological applications and collaboration with bioinformatics, scientific computing, and AI/ML colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise LC-MS workflows for single-cell analysis
- Support experimental design, execution, analysis, and interpretation
- Create standard operating procedures and user guidance
- Interpret complex datasets with computational colleagues
- Prepare manuscripts, reports, and scientific presentations
Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
- Mass spectrometry proteomics or metabolomics experience
- Knowledge of low-input or single-cell workflows
- Understanding of quantitative LC-MS data analysis
- Experience with MS analysis software platforms
Bring single-cell MS development, experimental troubleshooting, and cooperative communication to EIT’s Oxford-based research institute.
