Whether you're a certified technician or working toward your certification, this position offers hands‑on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused setting. You’ll be responsible for evaluating appliance issues, completing repairs using manufacturer documentation, and delivering an exceptional service experience aligned with Trail’s values. As a Service Technician, you will: Evaluate, diagnose, and repair a wide range of appliances (laundry, kitchen, refrigeration)



Provide professional and courteous service at all customer touchpoints Use service manuals and bulletins to perform accurate diagnostics Communicate repair findings clearly to customers and elevate concerns as needed Support junior apprentices and actively engage in training opportunities Have an Appliance Service Technician Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) or enrollment in a registered apprenticeship program through SkilledTradesBC Have a Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract Have a “C” Gas Ticket issued by Technical Safety BC (required for gas appliance repair) Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience servicing major appliance brandsHave a proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Experience with sealed system repairs (refrigeration units) is an asset Be Detail-oriented with a customer-first attitude Merit Performance We inspire possibilities, make shopping ridiculously easy, and help create special moments at home.
