Odunsi Law is a full-service firm based in Port Coquitlam, BC. We represent our clients in a wide range of practice areas, with most files in civil litigation. We are unique in that we provide services in both English and French (French ability not required for this role but is a strong asset). We run a paperless, cloud-based practice, and lead with empathy and professionalism.

OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to add an associate lawyer to our growing team. The associate will assist with current firm files and will also handle matters independently from intake to completion.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, proactive, resourceful and brings sound judgment to their files.

COMPENSATION

-Salary of $80,000 - $85,000 for first year, performance-based salary increase at second year

-Generous performance-based bonus structure

-Commencing after 90-day probation:

+Selected membership in legal organization

QUALIFICATIONS

- Called to the Bar of British Columbia
- Superb attention to detail
- Strong drafting, research, and writing skills
- Independent client file management and resourcefulness
- Sound judgment and professionalism
- Technological proficiency

PREFERRED

- At least 2 years of experience practicing law in British Columbia preferred
- French language ability is a strong asset, but not required

This is a full-time permanent position that is fully remote (with in-person meetings where required).
