Job Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused Auto Parts Salesperson to help customers identify and purchase the right parts and accessories for their vehicles. This role combines retail sales, product knowledge, order coordination, and attentive service. Dealership or automotive repair experience is helpful, but a strong willingness to learn and excellent communication skills are also valued.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable automotive parts and accessories.
- Assist customers with parts identification, availability, compatibility, and product questions.
- Process purchases and returns using a point-of-sale (POS) system; handle cashiering and other payment transactions accurately.
- Take and fulfill orders, track parts, and coordinate pickups or deliveries.
- Respond to customer inquiries in person and by phone, using qualified phone etiquette.
- Maintain organized, accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer orders.
- Support inventory checks, restocking, and general parts-area organization.
- Build positive customer relationships through knowledgeable, courteous customer service.




- Assist with merchandising and basic marketing activities to promote products and store offerings.
- Collaborate with coworkers and management to support daily sales and store operations.

Skills

- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Interest or experience in sales, retail sales, or dealership operations.
- Knowledge of automotive parts, vehicle systems, or automotive repair is an advantage.
- Accuracy with cash handling, cashiering, math, and POS transactions.
- Ability to listen, ask useful questions, and apply sound negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment, inventory processes, and maintenance of organized stock areas.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer-based business tools.
- Experience with Pinnacle or inventory-management systems is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are welcome.
- Interest in developing skills related to marketing or sales management is beneficial.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.5 per week
