Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bar Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional service at our establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, knowledge of food and beverage handling, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Take customer orders accurately, ensuring proper food safety and food handling procedures are followed.
- Manage cash transactions with precision, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal regulations.
- Assist in setting up the bar area for service, including garnishing drinks and preparing ingredients.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during busy hours.

Experience

- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all necessary skills such as POS operation and food safety protocols.
- Experience in bartending or serving is a plus, demonstrating solid customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Basic math skills are essential for cash handling and calculating bills accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is desirable to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service.
- A background in hospitality or food service will support success in this role by fostering a welcoming environment for guests.
