Hires is seeking a skilled AR/AP Clerk to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period: 6 months with potential to extend Pay Rate: $25 per hour Business Hours: Monday - Friday, Core business hours Verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures Verify expense reports and make sure that they comply with company Travel Policy Ensure effective communication with the Buyers and the Quality team to drive timely resolution of invoice processing delays in relation to inventory receipts, PO issues and vendor disputes Participate actively in clearing open items, advanced payments GL account, GRIR and other accounts during the month-end process Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations of specified key suppliers and any others that need to be done Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations on Accounts Payable related accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy and validity Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing,



posting and recording accounts receivables data Reconcile the receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status Render assistance to other departments in organizing requests for diverse business units for customers and regulators Monitor and collect past due intercompany accounts receivable internship experience will also be considered Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables A DEC in Accounting, Economics, Administration, or Finance SAP experience is an asset but not required The type of screening required (criminal, credit, or other verifications) will vary based on the position and client requirements.
