Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bread Packer to join our team in Ottawa. This role is vital in ensuring our baked goods are efficiently packed and ready for distribution, supporting our mission to deliver fresh bread to local businesses.

Applicant must be able to present themselves to work every day at 4am. Applicant must be reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

- Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to pack bread products efficiently.
- Ensure all baked goods are correctly labeled and packed according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
- Perform select entry level bread baker tasks
- Collaborate with production staff to meet daily packing targets.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production environments is preferred.




- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
- Basic knowledge of bread baking and pastry
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Schedule will be as follows:

Tuesday: 4am to 9am

Wednesday: 4am to 9am

Thursday: 4am to 9am

Friday 4am to 9am

Saturday 4am to 9am
