We are looking for friendly, reliable, and outgoing individuals to join our Breakfast Department!

Breakfast is often the last impression guests have of our hotel before checking out, and we want to make sure it's a great one!

We're looking for individuals who enjoy meeting people, take pride in their work, and understand that a warm smile, a friendly conversation, and a well-presented breakfast can make all the difference in someone's stay.

This position also includes opportunities to assist with catering functions, meetings, and special events.

Position Details

- Weekday shifts begin at 5:30 AM
- Weekend shifts begin at 6:30 AM
- Must be available to work a rotating schedule, including weekdays and weekends
- Weekday morning availability is mandatory
- Weekend and holiday availability is required
- Hours may vary based on operational needs

Important Scheduling Requirement: This position requires regular availability during weekday mornings, not just evenings or weekends. Applicants must be able to consistently work early morning shifts throughout the week. Availability limited to weekends, evenings, or school breaks cannot be accommodated.

Responsibilities

- Prepare, set up, and maintain the breakfast area for daily service
- Prepare and replenish hot and cold breakfast items
- Ensure food and beverages are fresh, stocked, and attractively presented
- Welcome guests with a friendly, positive attitude
- Assist guests with questions and requests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting breakfast area




- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Monitor food temperatures and maintain quality standards
- Complete daily cleaning, restocking, and preparation for the next day's service
- Assist with the setup, service, and cleanup of catering functions, meetings, and special events
- Work with other departments to provide an excellent guest experience

Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate in English and French
- Must be available for early morning shifts, weekdays, and rotating weekends
- Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Previous hospitality, food service, or catering experience is an asset, but not required
- Food safety certification is an asset
- Willingness to learn and follow established procedures

Someone who takes initiative, notices the little things, enjoys interacting with guests, and understands that hospitality is about more than simply putting food on a plate.
