Business Analyst/Data Engineer - Life Sciences/Pharma Industry Exp - 8+ Years of exp This is a contract remote role for a Business Analyst/Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in the Life Sciences/Pharma industry. The role involves analytical skills, business analysis, communication, business process, and business requirements management. Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least 6 years of experience in business analysis, data engineering, or related roles within the life sciences industry. Proficiency in Snowflake, MicroStrategy, and data visualization tools. Strong understanding of life sciences business units, such as internal medicine, oncology, and hospital settings.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex data concepts to diverse audiences. Create and maintain data dictionaries to ensure data consistency and usability across teams. Document business requirements through stakeholder discussions and meetings.

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for data integration with Snowflake.



Collaborate with data architects to optimize data models and database performance. Analyze large datasets, including LAAD, ELAAD, formulary, prescription, call, and activity data, to identify trends and inform decisions.

Work with cross-functional teams, including ETL, front-end reporting, and business leaders, to understand data needs and develop solutions. Support communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve data processes and reporting efficiency, fostering innovation.
