Matsqui Cafe is looking for a friendly, dependable Busser to support our dining room team during busy weekends!
Position Details
- Position: Busser / Server Assistant
- Schedule: Part-time (Weekends only)
- Wage: $18.25 / hour
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting guests as they arrive
- Delivering food and beverages directly to customer tables
- Clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing tables quickly between seatings
- Setting cutlery, napkins, and table condiments (refilling sugar, salt/pepper, etc.)
- Brewing and serving fresh coffee
- Assisting servers during peak rush hours to ensure smooth service
- Light dishwashing and maintaining clean service stations
Qualifications
- Friendly, welcoming demeanor with good customer service skills
- Reliable, energetic, and comfortable moving quickly in a bustling cafe
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Prior hospitality or cafe experience is a bonus, but we are happy to train the right person!
