Dexter Construction, part of the Municipal group of Companies is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking the expertise of a CAD Technician based out of Bedford, NS. Develop plans and calculate material takeoffs in Civil 3D. Ensure CAD standards and procedures are followed for all drawings and calculations. Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCad Civil 3D.

Experience in current civil construction methods.

Remotely Piloted Aircraft

System experience would be considered an asset. Suitable candidates require previous experience or training in a CAD Technician role, ideally from a survey/highways/mining/construction background. Post-secondary education with a concentration in surveying/engineering is preferred.

Experience with MS Office Suite would be an asset. Ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as in a team workplace. A comprehensive pension and benefits package are offered with this position along with opportunities for advancement and training and development.
