About Mui by Vui

Mui by Vui is a Vancouver-based home fragrance brand specializing in hand-poured soy candles, reed diffusers, and room sprays. Our products are carried in multiple retail locations across the Lower Mainland, and we're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Candle Production Assistant to join our growing team!

This is a hands-on role involving candle production, product preparation, inventory management, and occasional deliveries to our retail partners.

Job Responsibilities

Candle Production & Product Preparation

- Prepare candle jars, including cleaning, wicking, and labeling
- Assist with candle pouring and general production
- Prepare reed diffusers and room sprays
- Print, organize, and apply product labels
- Package finished products for retail and customer orders
- Ensure products meet our quality standards

Inventory & Warehouse Organization

- Count, track, and organize inventory
- Restock supplies and maintain an organized workspace
- Prepare and pack orders for retail locations
- Assist with general warehouse duties

Deliveries & Supplier Pickups

- Transport and deliver products to retail locations across Surrey, Vancouver, Burnaby, and Richmond
- Pick up supplies and orders from local suppliers
- Gas reimbursement provided for work-related deliveries




- Delivery time is paid

Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Strong attention to detail, especially with product preparation and labeling
- Comfortable performing hands-on production and light lifting
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
- Willingness to learn candle-making and production processes
- Previous production or warehouse experience is an asset but not required

Schedule & Compensation
- Position: Part time Candle Production Assistant
- Schedule: Flexible hours based on production needs
- Location: Surrey, BC
- Employment: Employee position — you will be added to our company payroll
- Compensation: Hourly wage (to be discussed)
- Deliveries: Paid delivery time and gas reimbursement for work-related trips
- Training: Provided
