Position: Cannabis Retail Manager (Full-Time)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cannabis Retail Manager to lead our store operations and create an exceptional customer experience. As Retail Manager, you will oversee daily operations, coach and develop a team of budtenders, ensure compliance with all AGCO regulations, and drive sales performance while maintaining our welcoming and knowledgeable store environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

- Lead, motivate, and support a team of 3–5 budtenders.
- Recruit, train, onboard, and coach team members.
- Schedule staff effectively to meet business needs.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused culture.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.

Customer Experience

- Ensure every customer receives exceptional service and product guidance.
- Support staff in making informed product recommendations.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and educational retail environment.

Store Operations

- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all AGCO, provincial, and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive shipments, and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and visual presentation.
- Manage cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation.





Sales & Compliance

- Drive sales growth through product knowledge and team engagement.
- Monitor store performance and key sales metrics.
- Stay current on cannabis products, strains, terpenes, cannabinoids, and industry trends.
- Ensure strict age verification and responsible cannabis retailing practices.
- Maintain accurate records and operational reporting.

Qualifications Required

- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Valid CannSell Certification.
- Valid police background check.
- Previous cannabis retail experience.
- Previous retail leadership or management experience.
- Solid understanding of Ontario cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

- Experience with Greenline POS or similar cannabis retail systems.
- Inventory management experience.
- Experience managing KPIs, sales targets, and staff performance.
