Camp Hurontario, a boys’ summer camp located on a beautiful island of the Georgian Bay, is looking to hire two assistants to help in the Canoe Trip Room for the summer of 2027. Leave the city behind and spend the summer out in nature, helping our campers and counsellors pack for their out-of-camp canoe trips.
Our experienced Tripping Director would provide you with all necessary training for the role, but our ideal candidate would have skills and experience in organisational or administrative roles. Any knowledge or experience with canoe tripping or the outdoors industry would be a plus; similarly, experience in food prep or handling would support your application.
Join our friendly co-ed staff of 110 to spend the summer making new friends and living with those who share your interest in working with children in a beautiful outdoor workplace. Aside from your salary, full accommodation and all meals will be provided by the camp during the work term, which constitutes of late June to late August of 2027.
