The Right at Home Victoria office is currently looking for a casual LPNs in the area to join our team and assist with either our palliative clients, or family & child nursing clients.

For this role you will need:

- Current nursing license with no practice restrictions
- Valid class G driver's license and vehicle is preferred
- Valid VSS Police check (within 12 months)
- 2 Step TB test (within 1 year)
- current CPR

Experience

- Various clinical experience
- Must be comfortable in using technology for charting and training
- Strong comprehension and assessment skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Professional, attention to detail and reliable
- Palliative Care experience an asset
- G-Tube feed & Trach care experience an asset

Regular Assignments/ Potential Responsibilities:

- Performs task delegations and training as required to unregulated providers to support client care such as:



catheter care, suppositories, applying non-sterile dressing and implementing exercise and mobilization routines as per regulatory standards and guidelines
- Administers medication to clients and provides medication reminders in accordance with established policy and delegation
- Performs Nursing Assessments as required
- Observes clients and their environments, and reports unsafe conditions and behavioral, physical, and/or cognitive changes to supervisor
- Demonstrates methods and provides basic information to clients in relation to activities of daily living in accordance with pre-established care plans
- Completes and maintains related records and documentation such as communication books and progress reports
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Participates in continuing education
- Attends RAH in-services, including Nursing related meetings
- Attends Client conferencing meetings
- May participate in RAH community events when requested, upon mutual agreement
