Job Responsibility:

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Ice Cream Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious ice cream flavors while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen workplace, contributing to a fun and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes to create high-quality ice cream.
- Operate ice cream machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with cashiering duties, including cash handling and processing customer transactions.
- Help in managing inventory by tracking supplies and notifying management when restocking is needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of ice cream products.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and answering any questions about flavors or ingredients.

Qualifications





- Experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks in a busy setting.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- A passion for creating delicious desserts and a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Previous experience with cashiering or cash handling is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
