Responsibilities

- Assist with meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the cook or chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support food handling processes by ensuring all items are stored correctly and adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods.




- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced cooks and chefs.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to develop culinary skills further.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
