Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within our manufacturing operations. You will lead a team of quality control inspectors and ensure that all products meet the established quality standards. Your expertise in QA/QC, data collection, and quality management will be essential in maintaining high-quality production levels.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the quality control team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze data collected from inspections to identify trends and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with production teams to develop and refine quality management processes.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in quality assurance and control.
- Utilize tools such as calipers and other measuring devices to verify product specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and present findings to management.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols while conducting inspections.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, including quality inspection techniques and data analysis.
- Familiarity with fabricating processes and materials used in production.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers is preferred.
