Develop and update claims policies, settlement procedures, and practices while ensuring compliance with the regulatory framework

- Serve as a technical resource for technical advisors and automobile and property claims adjuster teams, including supporting their development
- Represent the claims sector before government bodies, industry organizations, and industry committees, including the AMF, GAA, and IBC
- Represent the claims sector on various corporate committees, including the Dispute Resolution Committee, Standards Committee, and decision‑making committees, while ensuring that the required information is complete
- Take ownership of audit recommendations, determine the required actions, and oversee their implementation in collaboration with the appropriate teams
- Advise management on the sector’s direction and contribute to the evolution of insurance forms, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as a resource for litigation matters, handle certain complaint files, and support the management of exceptional situations or catastrophes, including the required documentation and reporting. Holds a college diploma and a claims adjuster licence; a relevant university degree is considered an asset
- Has 15 years of experience in claims roles, including at least 10 years as a claims adjuster
- Has in-depth technical knowledge of insurance forms, current claims practices, and key claims‑related issues
- Demonstrates diverse experience in personal property and casualty insurance, ideally in compliance, professional ethics, risk management, or projects related to these areas
- Stands out for their ability to influence, collaborate with various managers, and support the technical development of teams without direct people‑management responsibilities
- Has experience as a field adjuster handling major losses or in people management, which is considered a significant asset
- Is available occasionally outside regular working hours to respond to emergencies,



natural or climate‑related catastrophes, and periods of increased workload
